About This Job

Job Description

The Inspection Trainee in Nikiski, AK will assist Operators in the inspection and repair of used tubulars and is responsible for handling, cleaning, and inspection of used tubulars.

Essential Job Responsibilities

•

Assisting Operators in the utilization of CSR Inspection unit.

•

Thread inspection

•

Magnetic Particle Inspection

•

Cleaning and repair of pipe threads

•

Sorting and visual assessment of rods

•

Removal and application of thread compounds

•

Coupling removal and replacement

•

Equipment set up and tear down

•

Unit calibration

•

Basic unit maintenance

•

General housekeeping and shop cleanup

•

Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, guiding principles, procedures, and programs; including but not limited to the process map, support processes, health, safety, and environmental requirements

•

Participate in training programs as required by the company

•

All other duties as assigned
