Job Overview
Cisco Equipment Rentals is seeking a dynamic and driven Inside Salesperson to support our dealership’s sales efforts by generating leads, nurturing customer relationships, and supporting the field sales team. As an Inside Salesperson, you will play a vital role in increasing revenue through proactive prospecting, managing inbound inquiries, and ensuring outstanding customer service.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, tech-savvy, and comfortable with phone-based and digital communications. A passion for construction equipment and a customer-focused mindset are essential.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
•Develop leads through UCC data mining, social media groups, contractor associations, and Facebook Marketplace.
•Generate weekly prospect lists targeting specific equipment models, industries, and financial timing strategies.
•Create and manage marketing content including product walkarounds, demo videos, and social posts to drive customer engagement.
Inbound Lead Management
•Respond to all inbound JCB and dealership leads within 1 hour when possible.
•Follow a structured 3-2-1 lead follow-up cadence using phone, email, and text.
•Maintain accurate lead status and notes in Salesforce or CRM system.
Customer Retention
•Proactively follow up with customers based on contract expiration dates, machine hours, and service intervals.
•Offer trade evaluations to customers with machines in for service.
•Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
Sales Team & Front-of-House Support
•Maintain showroom and front lot equipment displays for optimal customer visibility and readiness.
•Greet and assist walk-in customers with product information and demonstrations.
•Support field sales representatives by hosting customers at the dealership and aiding in deal preparation.
Sales Administration
•Assist with quote creation and finance option discussions.
•Track KPIs including call volume, response time, lead conversion rate, and online engagement.
•Request and manage online reviews to improve dealership reputation and visibility.

Requirements:
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
•1–3 years in sales, marketing, or customer service—preferably in a construction equipment, industrial, or dealership setting.
•Experience with CRM systems and sales follow-up processes.
Technical Knowledge:
•Familiarity with construction equipment and basic machine specs preferred.
•Comfortable using social media platforms for business (Facebook, TikTok, YouTube).
Skills:
•Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
•Self-starter with a proactive mindset and high attention to detail.
•Creative in lead generation strategies and content creation.
Licenses & Certifications:
•Valid driver’s license preferred for occasional field work or deliveries.

•Ability to walk the lot and reposition equipment as needed.
•Capable of standing for extended periods when assisting customers.
•Willingness to work evenings or weekends for event coverage or lead response.
