Encore Metals is an industrial company officed in Delta BC that sells metal, we are looking for a motivated, self-driven and reliable individual for an Inside Sales role.
We serve a diverse range of industries including Forestry, Mining, Aerospace, Technology, Electronics, Oil/Gas, Automotive, and Construction, forging strong partnerships with companies across these sectors to achieve mutual growth and success. From delivering accurate pricing and delivery details to actively seeking out new sales opportunities, you'll be the go-to person for our customers' needs. Your exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to truly understand our customers will help forge lasting relationships and provide tailored solutions.
- Develop and Grow customer sales through fast, accurate and complete quotes through phone and email.
- Respond to customer inquiries and determine material availability and conformance to customer requirements.
- Quote prices, enter orders and keep customers updated to delivery schedule.
- Initiate calls to customers and potential customers to solicit purchases of stock or to follow-up on previously quoted business opportunities.
- Coordinate the processing of sales orders.
- Procure and source items for customers outside of our own internal stock through other vendors.
- Understand and provide feedback to customers regarding operational capabilities.
- Keep management informed of any potential/pertinent business issues.
- Process customer calls relating to complaints and recommends solutions.
- Utilize creative and innovative sales techniques to increase sales volume.
- Cultivate a strong product and market knowledge, as well as knowledge of the customer’s business and end use of material.
- Keep current on knowledge of products, customer programs, strategies, goals and competitors activities.
- Participate in training opportunities to improve competencies, skills, sales and customer service techniques and to meet company training standards.
- 2 Years experience in a Sales Role
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Organized and able to multitask.
- Familiarity with the metals industry/oil and gas industry preferable but not necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn and use other software.
