The Inside Sales Rep III (ISR III) effectively represents AmeriGas in building the business through new customer sales while meeting/exceeding assigned sales expectations. The ISR III will receive and handle inbound and outbound calls from all new potential or qualified customers requesting advanced support.
The ISR III’s main objective is to qualify incoming organic sales leads or leads for new customers created through AmeriGas demand generation activities such as the annual New Customer Enrollment, and any Company Marketing efforts. Utilizing AmeriGas sales and operating systems (CRM, SAP, Microsoft Office products and business websites/systems) the ISR III will qualify leads and enroll customers in the appropriate AmeriGas product/service offering.
The ISR III will also maintain complete records of customer interactions and process/activities through detailed notes in CRM and/or SAP. Once the ISR III successfully closes the sale, he/she will complete administration of the new customer process, account set-up. Release potential customer agreements/contracts if applicable and generate orders for account if needed.
The ISR III is also responsible to make outbound prospecting calls to any deferred or declined prospective customers.
Regardless of lead, prospect, or program, the ISR III is responsible for delivering a positive customer experience, increasing sales, building relationships with new customers, and offering promotional items to existing customers.
Qualify new sales leads generated through marketing/customer acquisition initiatives.
Qualify customer, understanding his/her specific use case and needs, determining appropriate products/services, and presenting key value statements and sales messaging to secure the sale.
Accurately completing all steps in the sales process.
Upon closing the sale, release customer agreements/contracts, setup/establish account, and establish propane delivery and/or service if needed.
Enter and maintain pertinent customer information in required systems (CRM/SAP).
May require outbound follow up if not finalized during initial contact.
Make outbound calls to the deferred/decline que for marketing promotions.
Upon receiving customer affirmation, complete all necessary steps to deliver on product/service sold.
Enter and maintain pertinent customer information in required systems (CRM/SAP Databases).
Maintains complete records of customer and prospect interactions and process/activities through detailed notes in CRM/ SAP.
Tasks will be assigned as needed and determined by sales manager to support sales efforts
Effective use of sales techniques, including prospecting, discovery, value proposition development, objection handling, and customer acquisition
Efficient and accurate use of systems and tools (CRM, SAP, Microsoft Office products, business websites/systems)
Effectively and professionally communicates in English – verbal and written communications
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload; strong organizational skills/time management skills
Active listener and use of inquiry to discover/understand prospect needs
Ability to work effectively with others; participates in team/center activities; gives and receives feedback/coaching well
2 years’ experience in customer service, sales and/or telemarketing in a sales environment and 1 year experience in Inside Sales.
Use of business/office tools such as CRM, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Microsoft Office products.

The pay for this position ranges from $25.00/hr. to $28.00/hr., depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation includes eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales.
