Mid-Park Highway is currently looking for the following at our 2555 Brandenburg Rd., Leitchfield, KY location. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving our sales efforts and fostering relationships with clients. Your contributions will directly support our mission of providing high-quality manufacturing solutions.
This role involves managing customer relationships, processing orders, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction materials sales, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Respond to inbound inquiries and proactively reach out to potential customers
- Provide technical product information and recommendations for:
- Rebar and welded wire mesh
- Load transfer assemblies (dowel baskets)
- Accessories and related concrete construction products
- Prepare and follow up on quotes and bids for commercial and infrastructure projects
- Input and manage fabrication orders and delivery schedules
- Coordinate with inventory, purchasing, and production teams to ensure product availability
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions
- Support outside sales representatives with account management and order fulfillment
- Handle special orders, credits, and customer complaints professionally
- Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and competitor offerings
- High School Diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in inside sales or customer service, preferably in construction or building materials- Knowledge of concrete reinforcement and load transfer systems, along with their practical applications, is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
