Your Role
As a Sales & Account Representative, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving sales and supporting our customers. This hybrid position combines relationship-based selling , offering a diverse and rewarding workday. You’ll be responsible for capturing, qualifying, and developing leads, building client relationships, and guiding prospects through the sales process—from the initial contact to closing the deal.
Key Responsibilities
•Drive Sales: Manage and follow up on robust sales funnel, qualify prospects, present solutions, and close deals. Maintain pipeline through the entire sales cycle to create urgency in order to shorten the overall sales cycle.
•Customer Engagement: Assist walk-in retail customers at our lumberyard and nurture existing accounts.
•Lead Development: Research and identify potential leads, then connect with decision-makers to understand their needs.
•Quote Management: Turn qualified leads into quotes and guide them through the buying process.
•Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and operations staff to ensure a seamless customer experience.
What We’re Looking For
•Bilingual or Spanish speaking a plus but not required.
•A self-starter with strong motivation and a desire to grow into a top-performing sales professional.
•Excellent communication skills—both listening and presenting.
•A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through.
•An eagerness to learn and a coachable attitude.
•Interest or experience in sales (previous sales or construction background is a plus but not required).
•Comfortable working with technology (CRM systems like Salesforce, Excel, Outlook).
•Someone who enjoys both an office environment and the hands-on, outdoor setting of a lumberyard.
