This role will be based onsite at our Headquarters in Austin, TX.

How You Will Make an Impact

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to support and enhance our hybrid IT environment. This role is critical to maintaining the reliability, security, and performance of our infrastructure, with a strong focus on networking and cloud technologies. You will work across both on-premises and cloud platforms, ensuring seamless integration and operation.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Architect and maintain resilient hybrid infrastructure across Azure and on-premises platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server). + Ensure secure integration and seamless operation between cloud and on-prem systems.

+ Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage, identity). + Implement automation, monitoring, and backup solutions to optimize performance and cost-efficiency.

+ Manage enterprise network environments using Fortinet (FortiGate), Cisco Meraki, and Aruba technologies. + Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs (site-to-site and client), SD-WAN, and secure internet gateways. + Troubleshoot and optimize LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi and firewall performance.

+ Oversee Windows/Linux server deployments, patching, and performance tuning. + Ensure system availability, security, and capacity planning.

+ Apply best practices in infrastructure security and participate in audits and compliance (ISO, NIST, SOX). + Manage access controls, firewalls, and threat prevention systems.

+ Work closely with DevOps, InfoSec, and Automation teams to support deployments and integrations. + Provide Tier 3 support and act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.

+ Maintain detailed documentation for network/system configurations, processes, and procedures.

+ Microsoft Azure (VMs, VNets, Azure AD, NSGs, ExpressRoute/VPN) + Cisco Meraki (Switching, Wireless, Security Appliances) + Fortinet FortiGate firewalls (rule management, VPNs, threat prevention) + Windows/Linux server environments (Hyper-V/VMware) + Networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, DHCP, DNS)
