Job Description: Assists with developing functional requirements for business systems, testing, training, and implementing applications. This role requires strong analytical skills, relationship management skills, a basic understanding of IT standards and policies, good written and verbal communication skills, and a strong initiative/desire to learn and develop. Additionally, this role will collaborate with engineering business units and process owners to gather requirements for new .NET applications and translate those requirements to the internal IT Development Team for software development.

Responsibilities:* Meet with engineering process owners to understand functional requirements for application development.

Degree Requirement:* Degree or equivalent experience desired.

Skill Descriptors: Business Analysis:* Understand engineering business processes and translate to actionable strategies and solutions.

Core Application Systems:* Basic understanding of major .NET production application systems.

Information Capture:* Basic understanding of methods and processes to obtain and document business information.

Analytical Thinking:* Basic understanding of techniques and tools for effective business analysis.

Relationship Management:* Basic understanding of relationship management techniques.

IT Environment and Standards:* Basic understanding of an organization's IT purposes, activities, standards, and policies.

Summary Pay Range:

$76,542.00 - $114,814.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
