Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing essential data for construction projects. This role requires proficiency in various surveying tools and technologies, as well as the ability to work in a very demanding environment. Camp to be provided if necessary as well as flights to Edmonton or Calgary. Shift will be 2 on 2 off.
Duties
•
Provide layout for underground utilities and concrete foundations.
•
Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate measurements and compliance with regulations.
•
Maintain equipment and ensure all surveying tools are in good working condition.
•
Assist in the development of project plans by providing critical survey information.
•
Build relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
Qualifications
•
Minimum 1 year experience in the industrial construction surveying industry.
•
Knowledge of total station is essential
•
Proficiency in AutoCAD an added bonus
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
•
Strong communication skills to convey technical information clearly.
•
Previous experience in surveying or a related field is a plus.
