Industrial Painter

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial and construction painting, with a strong understanding of various painting techniques and materials. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various products.

Duties

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary

- Apply paint using various techniques including airless paint spraying and traditional methods

- Operate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to achieve desired results

- Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment

- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols

- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications

- Assist in fabrication and assembly processes as needed

Skills

- Proficient in industrial painting techniques with experience in construction painting

- Familiarity with forklift operation and materials handling practices

- Strong mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing and machining processes

- Ability to use basic math for measurements and calculations

- Previous warehouse experience preferred, including familiarity with cranes and assembly tasks

- Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
