Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)

Resco Canada, a division of RHI Magnesita, is seeking an industrial mechanic for its facility in Grenville-Sur-La-Rouge, Quebec.

This is a full-time position starting in June / July.

Duties

- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.

- Perform repairs to all types of processing equipment such as crushers, conveyor belts, dust collector systems, and bagging equipment

- Trouble shoot equipment breakdowns and perform repairs required to get equipment back in service.

- Preventive maintenance of all plant equipment.

- Grease and lubricate various equipment.

- Fabricate guarding for equipment and property.

- Makes repairs to and maintain company property such as buildings, water, sanitation, and compressed air systems.

- Use a lift truck to handle the movement of repair parts.

Qualifications

- Minimum high school diploma with Millwright qualifications.

- Ability to read and interpret drawings and sketches.

- Good welding skills in order to be able to fabricate various parts.

- Proficiency in operating forklifts is a plus

- Must be fluent in either French or English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31.47 per hour
