Industrial Maintenance Technician

Overview:Responsibilities:

- Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery, including sheet metal fabrication equipment

- Troubleshoot issues with electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and other systems

- Repair or replace defective parts as needed

- Perform tests to ensure systems are functioning correctly

- Document maintenance and repair activities

- Collaborate with other team members to identify and address maintenance needs

- Perform Preventive Maintenance per scheduled requirements.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an industrial maintenance technician or similar role

- Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems

- Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints

- Good problem-solving skills

- Attention to detail and a safety-conscious mindset

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be proficient in various technical areas such as HVAC, electrical systems, and hydraulics.

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment

- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime

- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance needs

- Install and maintain electrical systems including high and low voltage components

- Assist in technical sales support when needed

- Operate scissor lifts safely for maintenance tasks

- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate maintenance activities

Skills:

- Mechanical knowledge is essential for this role

- Proficiency in high voltage electrical systems

- Experience with HVAC systems is a plus

- Strong electrical skills including low voltage wiring

- Knowledge of hydraulics for equipment maintenance

- Ability to operate scissor lifts safely and efficiently

- Fluency in English is required for effective communication within the team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.78 - $30.00 per hour
