Industrial Maintenance Technician

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled electro-mechanical repairs, maintenance, and installation tasks on plant equipment, machinery, and facilities. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to ensure production uptime, product safety, and quality in a food manufacturing environment.

Position Responsibilities:

- Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks

- Conduct scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery

- Respond to and resolve mechanical breakdowns and equipment stoppages

- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues

- Repair/replace worn or defective parts, motors, control devices, PLCs, VFDs, etc.

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

- Comply with all company policies and safety procedures (GMPs, HACCP, etc.)

- Assist with welding and plumbing repairs as needed (experience preferred)

- Perform other duties assigned by management

What We Need From You:

- High school diploma or GED

- 3+ years of commercial or industrial maintenance experience

- Experience with low and high voltage electrical systems (must be able to read schematics and blueprints)

- Understanding of Industrial Electrical Controls, VFDs, HMIs, and PLCs

- Basic welding and plumbing experience preferred

- Willingness to work flexible hours (schedule includes early mornings, weekends, and holidays; may be subject to on-call status)

- Ability to diagnose problems, replace/repair parts, and make necessary adjustments

- Strong continuous improvement mindset

- Must pass a drug screening

Work Schedule:

- Sunday: 8 AM – 4 PM

- Monday & Tuesday: 5 AM – 1 PM

- Wednesday & Thursday: OFF

- Friday & Saturday: 1:30 AM – 9:30 AM

Salary is competitive based on experience and qualifications and will be discussed further at the time of the interview.
