INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE PROFESSIONAL

Wear-Tek is a Steel Foundry and Machine Facility Located in Spokane, WA. We are currently seeking full time Industrial Maintenance Professionals (Millwright, Electrician or Rolling Stock) to become a long-term members of our team. This is a dirty and labor-intensive job; however, we have an excellent team of knowledgeable and dedicated people pulling towards the common goal of being profitable. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE PROFESSIONAL include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Collaborate with Maintenance and Production team members to ensure proper function of production systems, address root cause, and complete large projects.
•Perform routine maintenance, including, but not limited to mechanical inspections, electrical inspections, greasing, oil changes, and tune ups.
•Install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair equipment.
•Install and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures, power equipment, and components of machinery and equipment
•Diagnose and repair production equipment including but not limited to pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, conveyors, pumps, mixers, and cranes.
•Diagnose and repair rolling stock equipment including but not limited to diesel trucks, Skid Steers, forklifts and man lifts.
•Monitor and maintain inventories of parts and supplies as needed to maintain equipment.
•Ensure that proper testing has been completed before returning equipment to production.
•Follow instructions, guidelines and procedures timely and accurately.
•Complete written records of work performed and events.
•Continually improve your knowledge and skills through teamwork, practice, and education.
•Safe and effective use of hoists, lift trucks, hand tools and power tools; any candidate must demonstrate experience with appropriate safety and PPE requirements for each job.
•Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
•Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and positive team attitude.
•Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
•Operate heavy equipment as necessary.
•Understand and use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
•Adhere to safety rules and standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS, ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC:
•Regular attendance is required as a condition of employment in this position.
•Responsible for supplying your own basic hand tools
•Must be available for scheduled overtime shifts.
•Ability to work indoors and outdoors in both hot and cold environments.
•Ability to perform some work in small and/or confined spaces.
•Ability to climb ladders, walk up and down steps and work at heights.
•Ability to wear a respirator or self-contained breathing apparatus. Candidate must pass pre-employment respirator medical questionnaire.
•Must be willing to be part of a harassment-free work environment.
•Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
•Ability to pass pre-employment drug test.
EDUCATION AND PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS OF THE INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE PROFESSIONAL:
•Foundry experience a plus.
•Two to Five years’ experience in maintaining industrial equipment, rolling stock or as an industrial electrician or a combination of any of the three.
•GED or high school diploma preferred
•Manufacturing environment experience a plus.
PAY AND BENEFITS
•$22.00 - $35.00/hour DOE.
•Monthly profit sharing after 90 days.
