Job Summary
As an Industrial Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate cost estimates for industrial projects. You will analyse project specifications, conduct material and labour cost assessments, and collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure successful project execution.
Duties
•
Review project plans, 3D Models, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates.
•
Analyse labour, material, equipment, and overhead costs.
•
Work closely with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to obtain competitive pricing.
•
Prepare detailed bid proposals and cost breakdowns.
•
Identify potential project risks and develop cost-effective solutions.
•
Assist in contract negotiations and budgeting.
•
Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and construction methodologies.
Qualifications
•
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant construction experience in the industrial sector
•
Proven experience as an Industrial Estimator in [industry, e.g., construction, manufacturing, engineering].
•
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
•
Proficiency in estimation software
•
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
•
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
•
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
