About You:
•The right individuals will demonstrate a history of long-term employment with prior employers, the ability to operate safely in industrial environments and the capacity to learn a new trade. Individuals with chemical/industrial cleaning experience, or performing industrial services to SAGD operations will be given preference.
Job Details:
•Training and necessary industry certifications are provided.
•The physical demands of the role are moderate-to-low, however there are lifting procedures for setup and tear down of jobs, some walking at client sites but this work does not have the demands of construction trades.
•Driving to and from site and at site is essential; operators must have the ability to drive an F450 - F550 or equivalent while pulling tandem and tri-axle trailers of up to 34 feet in length.
•Connecting to heat exchanger circuits, mixing prescribed chemical within the cleaning systems, and monitoring the cleaning equipment and gauges through the prescribed cleaning cycles.
•The successful applicant will be hired as an employee (not sub-contractor) and must complete a 3-month probationary period.
Experience / Education:
•2 years of oil & gas services experience (preferred)
•General knowledge of working mechanics (good mechanical instincts)
•Working knowledge of heat exchangers an asset, but not required
•Chemical calculations (will train)
Job Requirements:
•Flexible schedule, able to work out of town with 24-hour's notice.

•This is a safety sensitive position and the successful completion of pre-access drug, alcohol, and fitness screening is required.
Mandatory Certifications/Licenses:
•Valid Class 5 (Non-GDL) driver's license in good standing; a drivers abstract must be provided.
•Three (3) year Commercial Drivers Abstract (CDA) demonstrating a safe driving history with no major convictions and no more than three (3) minor convictions.
Highly desirable Certifications/licenses:
•Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
•Chemical Engineering Technologist (CET)
Compensation:
•Permanent, Full Time Employment
•$32.55 per hour during 90-day probation period
•$35.81 after completion of 90-day probation period
•Overtime payable after 8-hours per day, or 44-hours per week

•This position routinely requires days and nights away from home spent in camp or hotel (all expense covered up front by Viking). Are you comfortable being away from home for work?
•This position involves the high-volume use of caustic/corrosive chemicals. While there are robust controls in place to prevent exposure, personal protective equipment (PPE) is required as the last line of defense. Are you comfortable wearing respiratory protective equipment (i.e., full-face and/or supplied air face masks) and full body chemical protection? Training will be provided.
•This position requires the operation of a commercial vehicle. Are you able to provide a commercial drivers abstract (CDA) demonstrating a safe driving history with no major convictions and no more than three (3) minor convictions.
•This is a safety sensitive position, where impairment may be a hazard to you and those you work with. Compliant pre-access drug, alcohol, and fitness screening is required as a condition of employment. If selected for this position, do you agree to complete this testing upon hire?
