- Operate and monitor machinery including CNC machines and other heat treating equipment necessary for the heat-treating process.
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to understand specifications and production requirements.
- Perform in-process inspection.
- Performs set-up according to company procedure.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety regulations.
- Ensures security and proper use of company equipment, tooling, and supplies.
- Adheres to all safety standards and procedures, and maintains an ongoing awareness of safety for self and others in assigned work areas.
- Participates in company sponsored training as required.
Additional Responsibility: Drive a forklift to move parts around the shop.
- Heat-treating experience Preferred.
- Attention to detail.
- works well with others.
- Ability to work independently.
Working Condition: Office and factory environment, may encounter dirt, dust, oil, processing chemicals and varying temperatures. Summer temperatures could be extremely hot, over 100 degrees. Winter temperatures are cool.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Considerable amount of walking, standing, bending, and reaching.
- Safety Shoes and glasses required.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm (with an unpaid 30-minute lunch)
