Position Overview:

As an Independent Solar Closer, you will be responsible for generating your own leads, closing deals, and managing the customer relationship from initial contact through installation. This is a commission-only, high-reward position for experienced closers who are comfortable working independently and taking control of their pipeline.

Responsibilities:

- Prospect and self-generate residential or commercial solar leads through door-to-door, referrals, networking, and personal marketing.

- Present solar solutions with professionalism and in alignment with company standards.

- Educate customers on solar benefits, financial incentives, and the installation process.

- Customize proposals using our tools to best fit customer needs.

- Follow up with potential clients and maintain CRM records.

- Close sales and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project handoff.

- Stay current with solar industry trends, local utility regulations, and available incentives.

Qualifications:

- Proven track record of success in B2C or B2B sales (solar or home improvement experience strongly preferred).

- Must be highly self-motivated, organized, and a strong closer.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Comfortable working 100% commission-based.

- Ability to generate your own leads and maintain a consistent pipeline.

- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if working in the field).

- Basic tech proficiency (CRM, proposal tools, apps).
