I&E Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance and electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery. This role requires a blend of instrumentation knowledge and electrical experience, ensuring that our equipment operates efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

- Perform maintenance and repairs on various industrial equipment, including instrumentation & controls and low to medium voltage systems

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to transmitters, control valves, hydraulics, sensors, programmable logic controllers, human machine interfaces

- Conduct configuration of instrumentation transmitters and visually inspect systems

- Install pressure, temperature, level, flow, and vibration devices

- Install/repair and terminate ethernet and fiber optic connections

- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings, including one-line diagrams and network layouts

- Provide field service support to customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed

- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance equipment reliability

Experience

- Proven experience in industrial maintenance, with a strong understanding of instrumentation and electrical systems

- Familiarity with electrical systems, including low voltage and medium voltage applications

- Experience with E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) tasks preferred

- Experience in bending SST tubing

- Knowledge of distributed control systems and their operation

- Proficient in the use of calibration tools such as ohmmeters and other precision measuring instruments

- Background in manufacturing environments is advantageous

- Military experience is a plus, especially in technical roles related to maintenance or engineering

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
