Position Overview
Basin Disposal Inc. is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Seasonal Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team in Pasco, Washington. In this role, you will serve as a liaison between the company and our customers, ensuring a high standard of service delivery through responsive and accurate communication. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, professional, and enthusiastic about helping others, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
•Handle a high volume of incoming calls and inquiries.
•Identify and assess customer needs to ensure satisfaction.
•Build trust and relationships through professional, courteous communication.
•Provide accurate and timely information using appropriate tools and resources.
•Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documentation.
•Respond to and resolve customer issues efficiently, ensuring timely follow-up.
•Support drivers by relaying messages and work orders via two-way radio.
•Collect and process customer payments and balance cash drawers as assigned.
•Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and PCI (Payment Card Industry) regulations.
•Enter and update customer information in databases.
•Escalate priority issues to supervisors as needed.
•Strive to meet or exceed individual and team performance metrics.
General Duties
•Deliver excellent service through multiple channels: phone, email, electronic systems, and in person.
•Maintain, organize, and update records, work orders, route books, and related documentation.
•File and store records per retention guidelines.
•Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints using sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
•Follow established communication procedures and service protocols.
•Assist with cashier responsibilities and account closures when necessary.
