Hydrovac Operator

Responsibilities:

- Operate hydrovac equipment to safely and efficiently excavate underground utilities and pipelines

- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the hydrovac truck and equipment

- Safely drive and maneuver the hydrovac truck to job sites

- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on the hydrovac equipment

- Follow all safety procedures and protocols while operating the hydrovac equipment

- Communicate effectively with customers and supervisors to ensure job tasks are completed accurately and efficiently

Requirements:

- Valid class 5 driver's license and Q endorsement with a clean driving record

- H2S, First Aid, Ground Disturbance level 2, etc required

- Ability to dig and excavate safely using hydrovac equipment

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments

-Will train the right candidate or help obtain air brakes (Q)

- must live in the Grimshaw, Peace River, Berwyn areas

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 60 per week
