Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing hydraulic systems and solutions in various projects, including water treatment, oil and gas applications, and environmental consulting. This role requires a strong foundation in civil engineering principles, along with expertise in CAD software and mechanical knowledge to ensure effective project execution.
Duties
•Design and develop hydraulic systems for water treatment facilities and oil and gas operations.
•Conduct detailed analyses of hydraulic models using software such as SWMM and HEC.
•Draft technical reports and documentation to support project development and compliance with environmental laws.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project specifications are met.
•Evaluate existing hydraulic systems for efficiency improvements and compliance with environmental regulations.
•Provide technical guidance on hydraulic engineering practices to junior engineers and interns.
•Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes affecting hydraulic engineering.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
•Proficient in CAD software for drafting and design purposes.
•Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to hydraulic systems.
•Familiarity with environmental law as it pertains to water resources management.
•Experience in water treatment processes and oil & gas industry applications is highly desirable.
•Knowledge of hydraulic modeling software such as SWMM and HEC is a plus.
•Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
•Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
