Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC equipment effectively. The HVAC Technician will work in the field, providing top-notch service to our clients while ensuring their heating and cooling systems operate efficiently.
Duties
•
Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
•
Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including boilers and other heating systems.
•
Conduct field service visits to residential and commercial properties for installation, maintenance, and repair tasks.
•
Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical components and ensuring proper functionality.
•
Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related issues promptly.
•
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during repairs.
•
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
Qualifications
•
Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field service industry.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on equipment repair and maintenance.
•
Familiarity with plumbing systems as they relate to HVAC installations and repairs is a plus.
•
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
•
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
•
Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
