You will be reporting to Surface/Mill electrical Supervisor, and you will be part of the Maintianence Department. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Complete preventative maintenance on heating and cooling systems at site
- Trouble shoot and repair heating and cooling systems at site
- Installations of new heating and cooling systems at site
- Assist with TSSA inspections on HVAC systems
- Completed all associated documentation
- Carry and lift including overhead up to 30Kg (as capable)
- Occasional push/pull
- Constant standing
- Frequent walking over uneven ground, both up and down gradient
- Frequent working in awkward positions – squatting, kneeling, bent over, reaching
- Occasional stair / ladder climbing
- Occasional neck postures
- Hand use in confined spaces and with tools
- Occasional driving over uneven ground
- Working with heavy objects of awkward dimensions
- Night Shift – Fatigue management
- Environment conditions can be hot, humid, wet, dusty, cold. Lighting is restricted. May be excessive noise. Airflow is artificial
- Ground conditions may be wet, muddy, slippery, sloped inclines, loose rocks and other obstacles on the ground
- Refrigeration and air conditioning systems mechanic (313A)
- TSSA Registered G1 Technician
- Able to set priorities and work with at times limited supervision
- The ability to think logically and keep up with changes in technology
- Basic computer skills, written and verbal communication skills
- Schedule: 7 days of work, followed by 7 days off, at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON.
