Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled HVAC Technician to join our team, specializing in commercial kitchen hood and foodservice equipment installations. You'll be responsible for hanging commercial hoods, MUA (Makeup Air Unit) and grease duct connections, performing experienced welding tasks, and installing various foodservice equipment. Responsibilities:

● Hang commercial kitchen hoods according to specifications and safety standards.

● Install and connect MUA units and grease ducts, ensuring proper airflow and sealing. ● Perform welding tasks related to HVAC and foodservice equipment installations, maintaining structural integrity and leak-free connections.

● Install a wide variety of commercial foodservice equipment, including cooking, refrigeration, ware washing, and specialty equipment.

● Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to carry out accurate installations.

● Work collaboratively with other technicians and tradespeople (e.g., electricians, plumbers) to ensure projects are completed efficiently.

● Ensure all installations comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and manufacturer specifications.

● Communicate effectively with clients and team members, providing updates and addressing any concerns.

● Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols. Required

Qualifications:

● Minimum 2-5 years proven experience in commercial HVAC installations, particularly with kitchen hoods, MUA, and grease ducts.

● Experienced welder with the ability to perform precise welds for HVAC and related components.

● Strong understanding of foodservice equipment installation procedures. ● Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

● Proficient in the use of various hand and power tools.

● Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.

● Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.

● Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 75 lbs).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
