Summary
The HVAC Technician plays a key role in maintaining, repairing, and modifying the equipment fleet, while also serving as a lead technician and mentor to the team. This role supports continuous improvement initiatives across technical practices, shop procedures, and team development. Additionally, the HVAC Technician will assist shop and technical supervisors with various assigned tasks to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.

What You’ll Do – The Role
•Install and remove air quality systems and HVAC equipment at project sites.
•Perform maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, cooling, ground and air-source heat pumps, and refrigeration units.
•Diagnose and repair/replacement of components such as filters, electrical motors, gas trains, bearings, belts, humidification systems, and moving parts; perform welding and lubrication as required.
•Load, unload, deliver, and retrieve equipment and materials to and from project locations.
•Maintain and repair electrical components of HVAC systems.
•Inspect plumbing systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with environmental standards.
•Review historical repair records to develop and implement effective inspection schedules.
•Ensure documentation is complete and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
•Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment both in the shop and on job sites, promoting safe and efficient work practices.
•Train junior team members and participate in ongoing training and workshops to stay updated on HVAC industry advancements.
•Perform other related duties as assigned, in line with the HVAC Technician role.
What You Need
•Fully licensed HVAC Technician with 313A, G2 or Frigoriste (QC) certifications.
•Valid G Driver’s License with clean driving record.
•The ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
•Superior customer service skills and track record.
•Ability to operate and repair various HVAC equipment
•Professional verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance with the government of Canada.
Working Conditions
•In the case of a power outage or declared State of Emergency by any level of Government, be available for work.
•Heavy lifting and physical exertion are required
•Ability to work irregular hours / overtime.
