HVAC Technician: 20 to 40 Hrs a Week

We are a small family owned company who are seeking an experienced HVAC technician to diagnose, install, maintain, and repair air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems as well as have excellent customer service skill and most importantly be ethical.

3-5 years of experience on trouble shooting and be able to learn quickly to be able to work on their own. We mainly do residential work.

Our service area includes San Bernardino and Riverside County.

Requirements:

Work schedule will be 3-5 days a week which may occasional include weekends from 9am-6pm . Pay would be between $25-30/hr.

Expected hours per week is 20-40. During the high season job might become full time.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

- Install HVAC systems following design specifications

- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems

- Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues

- Test HVAC systems for proper functioning

- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations

- Keep accurate records of work performed

Qualifications

- Experience in HVAC/R systems

- Mechanical knowledge for system troubleshooting and repairs

- Ability to read schematics and understand technical manuals

- Proficiency in using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing

- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus

- Welding skills for metalwork repairs is an advantage

- Prior experience in property maintenance is beneficial
