Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot control systems for HVAC equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in HVAC controls, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to deliver exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
•Install, program, and troubleshoot HVAC control systems, including but not limited to building automation systems (BAS), energy management systems (EMS), and other HVAC control components.
•Perform routine maintenance and inspections of control systems and components to ensure proper functionality.
•Diagnose and repair issues with HVAC systems, including sensors, actuators, and control valves.
•Work with project managers and engineers to ensure HVAC control systems meet project specifications and client expectations.
•Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and clients.
•Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and installations.
•Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
•Keep up-to-date with industry standards and new technologies related to HVAC controls.
Requirements:
•3+ years of experience working as an HVAC Controls Technician or in a similar role.
•Strong knowledge of HVAC control systems, building automation systems (BAS), and energy management systems (EMS).
•Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC control systems.
•Ability to read and interpret HVAC system drawings, control diagrams, and specifications.
•Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
•Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
•EPA certification is a plus.
•Relevant HVAC certifications (e.g., NATE, HVAC Excellence) preferred.
