Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HVAC Service Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our HVAC service operations, including managing service technicians, providing technical support for technicians on jobs, maintaining a working relationship with the office, scheduling, customer relations, and ensuring the highest level of service quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
•Manage and lead a team of HVAC service technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
•Provide over the phone technical support to technicians on job sites.
•Going out to job sites to provide on site support for technicians.
•Develop and maintain service schedules to ensure timely and efficient completion of work orders.
•Coordinate with dispatch to assign technicians to service calls and address any scheduling conflicts or emergencies.
•Monitor and manage inventory levels of parts and equipment to ensure availability for service calls.
•Conduct regular performance evaluations for service technicians and provide feedback for improvement.
•Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
•Collaborate with sales and project management teams to provide technical expertise and support for new installations and projects.
•Collaborate with the office to make sure things run smoothly and efficiently.
•Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards at all times.
•Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to optimize service operations.
•Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory changes to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
•Minimum of 10 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with a proven track record in service management or a related role.
•Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team of technicians.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on customer service.
•Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
•Proficiency in HVAC systems, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.
•Familiarity with service management software and scheduling tools (e.g., Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, FieldEdge).
•Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
•HVAC certification and valid Oil Burner's License.
