Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service manager to lead our team in providing exceptional heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC/R systems and demonstrate leadership skills to manage technicians effectively. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure quality service delivery while maintaining safety standards and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
•
Supervise and coordinate the activities of HVAC technicians and service personnel.
•
Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment.
•
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations.
•
Review schematics and technical drawings to guide installation processes.
•
Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify issues and recommend repairs or replacements as necessary.
•
Provide training and mentorship to team members on best practices in HVAC service and repair.
•
Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for HVAC operations.
•
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and equipment maintenance logs.
Requirements
•
Proven experience as an HVAC Supervisor or in a similar role within the HVAC/R industry.
•
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating units.
•
Familiarity with schematics and technical documentation related to HVAC systems.
•
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively and efficiently.
•
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred.
•
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards achieving operational goals.
•
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
•
Certification in HVAC or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
