Hours: Monday -Friday 7AM to 3PM or Monday -Thursday 5AM to 3PM
Pay Range: Seeking Tier 1 to Tier 3 $21 to $32/Hr.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented human resources/safety coordinator with 1–2 years of experience to join our team. This dual-role position supports a wide range of HR functions including full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll support, and compliance with employment regulations. Additionally, the role plays a key part in developing and maintaining workplace safety programs in accordance with OSHA standards, coordinating safety training, and promoting a culture of safety and employee engagement. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and passionate about creating a positive and compliant work environment.
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
1. Coordinate full cycle recruitment including job postings, screenings, interviews, and background checks.
2. Assist in new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a positive employee experience.
3. Maintain confidential employee files and record information in accordance with government regulations and including licensure, certifications, and training compliance.
4. Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and open enrollment coordination.
5. Ensure compliance with federal, states and local employment regulations.
6. Assist with employee relations matters and help facilitate and foster a positive workplace communication.
7. Assist with the processing of payroll to support accurate and timely processing of new hires, pay changes, and benefits enrollment.
8. Ensures compliance with local, state and federal government agencies relating to, but not limited to, Wage and Hour, Employment, Safety, OSHA, and Leaves.
9. Maintains personnel files and employee information in accordance with government regulations.
11. Identifies, creates and assists coordinates company recognition and team building programs including, but not limited to: years of service, social, acknowledgement of various milestones, bags tournaments at lunch, etc.
12. Provides strategic and day-to-day support to the company by developing, executing, and maintaining safety programs in accordance with OSHA 1910standards.
13. Coordinates safety training programs including onboarding, annual training, department specific training, etc.
15. Maintains accurate safety documentation including incident reports, training records, checklist, and audits.
16. Helps to identify and report hazards, unsafe behaviors and conditions and follows up to ensure timely correction.
17. Tracks and analyzes safety snags, safety trends, and assist teams in incident investigation to recommend, or assign improvements in a timely manner.
18. Assist in the creation or revision of facility specific safety audits, checklists, programs and hazard assessments.
19. Monitors and ensures compliance with OSHA regulations and other applicable laws.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred 1–2 years of experience in human resources, office management, or related field
- Preferred knowledge of OSHA, EEOC, Wage and Hour, and other employment regulations
- Positive, confident, and approachable demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong decision-making, organizational, and multitasking abilities
- Effective communicator with all levels of staff and external partners
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

The employee regularly works in an office setting. However, the duties of this position require that he/she occasionally is in the warehouse environment and is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. He/she is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the warehouse environment is loud, however the noise level in the office is usually moderate.
