Primary Job Duties:

•

Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of qualified candidates with vetting, interviews, and background checks.

•

Support internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department

•

Compiling and maintaining paper, digital and electronic employee records

•

Assist with payroll processing and termination checks

•

Support internal employee training programs

•

Enter employee data into multiple computer databases

•

Coordinate logistics for new hire orientations

•

Assemble, review for accuracy, and submit Union reports for multiple unions

•

Assist with dispatch of Storm employees as needed for emergency work

•

Create and coordinate DocuSign processing for new and current documents

•

Write and submit reports on general HR activities

•

Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency

•

Serve as POC for small office operation and provide general administrative support

•

Take full responsibility of assigned tasks while assisting multiple managers

Primary Qualifications:

•

Five years of generalist experience in Human Resources

•

Human Resources certification is a plus

•

Working knowledge of HR functions and best practices

•

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)

•

Previous experience with HR and payroll software (ADP is a plus)

•

Exceptional interpersonal skills

•

Hands on experience with DocuSign Software and process

•

Strong Union knowledge

•

Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows (Word and Excel)

•

Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed

•

Must pass post-offer federal level drug test and background check

•

Reliable, consistent attendance is a must

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
