Key Sub Tasks
•Consult and assist leadership on talent related initiatives inclusive of recruiting, performance management, employee development, recognition, and development of compensation/bonus plans providing HR best practices.
•Administer benefits programs such as: health, dental, life/disability, 401(k), PTO, leave and other company benefits offered. Negotiate plan renewals annually; manage staff enrollment through HRIS system.
•Establish processes and provide ongoing maintenance of newly implemented HRIS system (Paychex). Educate leaders and employees on functionalities to increase knowledge and usage of system.
•Responsible for maintaining accurate employee and benefit plan records and data.
•Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
•Plan and conduct new employee orientation and respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits.
•Administer employee surveys, organize company celebrations/meetings, develop and manage recognition programs intended to build a positive work culture
•Create and maintain scorecard with key HR metrics to be reported to leadership.
Desired Skills and Experience
•5+ years of professional HR experience.
•Service Titan Software Experience a PLUS.
•Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
•Trades Industry Experience MAJOR PLUS.
•Superior communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
•Ability to coach and influence leaders.
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
•Proven analytical & problem-solving skills.
