ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Administers employee health, welfare and retirement plans company-wide. Benefit programs include: 401 (k) Retirement Plan, medical/vision and dental, long-term disability, workers' compensation, leave of absence, FMLA, COBRA, ACA and Flexible Spending (Section 125).
•Acts as liaison between employee, insurance providers and resolve benefit related problems and ensure effective utilization of plans and positive employee relations.
•Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting and reconciling of benefit statements.
•Assists employees (and potential employees/applicants) on plan provisions so that individuals can make informed benefit decisions.
•Coordinates with the department managers the recruitment and interview process by writing and placing advertisements, reviewing resumes and assisting with interviews.
•Conducts new employee onboarding.
•Works directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters.
•Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains Employee Handbook.
•Establishes and maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
•Maintains company organization charts and employee directory.
Physical Requirements:
•Work environment will be a climate-controlled office setting
•Ability to sit or stand for extended periods at a desk and use a computer for prolonged periods
•Performs repetitive hand motions such as typing, writing, and handling documents and equipment
•Clear verbal communication and adequate hearing for conversations and meetings
•Clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less, including use of computers and paper documents
•Frequently required to walk, reach, and grasp with hands and arms
