Job Title: Human Resource Manager
The Human Resource Manager will oversee HR functions across all divisions of the company, supporting leadership and staff by maintaining compliance, driving culture, and improving operational performance. This position plays a vital role in managing the employee lifecycle, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth HR operations.

Job Functions:
•Maintain accurate HR documentation, personnel files, job descriptions, and organizational charts.
•Support onboarding/offboarding processes and maintain related documentation.
•Support with recuriting.
•Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time, including timecard review and coordination with accounting.
•Assist in benefit enrollments, changes, terminations, and liaise with brokers and carriers.
•Process and track leave of absence requests and workers’ compensation claims.
•Coordinate training programs and certifications; maintain logs and expiration alerts.
•Assist leadership with recruitment, hiring, and interview processes.
•Process wage verifications, EDD claims, and unemployment documentation.
•Track performance reviews, training attendance, and safety program participation.
•Enforce company policies and help maintain a positive work environment.
•Support safety program requirements including reporting and recordkeeping.
•Manage compliance with labor laws and assist with employee relations.
•Facilitate HR audits and special projects as needed.
•Assist with additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
•5+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably in the Construction industry.
•Payroll processing experience required, knowledge of wage and hour laws.
•Experience with ADP is preferred.
•Working knowledge of California labor laws and HR best practices.
•Strong organizational and documentation skills.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
•Excellent verbal and written communication.
•Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
•Ability to multi-task and possess strong attention to detail and time management skills.
•Professional with a friendly and positive attitude towards change.
•Demonstrates strong attention to detail and problem solving.
•Have the willingness and know-how to make things happen.
