Hiring HSES Safety Specialist for Schilling Robotics in Davis, CA! This role will support the HSES Manager through the management and development of systems to ensure compliance with statute, certification and organisational HSES requirements.
- Support the assessment and analysis of complex HSE risk and provide clear, accurate and practical guidance to all levels of the organisation, ensuring compliance with legal and organisational requirements.
- Support cultural development through engagement with personnel, HSE Teams and building positive professional relationships throughout the organization.
- Support the ongoing development and implementation of the site's Health, Safety and Environmental management system to ensure compliance to statute, CA state and organisational requirements.
- Support or lead new initiatives / campaigns (local or corporate) to improve and develop the site Health, Safety and Environmental performance / culture.
- BA/BS in related Health and Safety field, such as Occupational Safety and Health Management, Safety Engineering, Ergonomics, etc.
- 3 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001, as well as other local state and federal regulatory requirements
- Proficient in the understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental regulations, codes and guidelines
- Effective at identifying leading and lagging indicators within a HSE program
- Effective at solving problems and incident investigations within a team environment
- Have the ability to work effectively with others to drive projects forward
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize multiple HSE related priorities and tasks to support the business production and engineering activities
- Experience of implementing key HSE processes resulting in positive cultural change
