About the Opportunity
We are seeking an Experience Health, Safety & Environment Advisor (HSE) for a Maximum Term Contract, based at our Kimberley Minesite Rehabilitation project. As a HSE Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, compliance and well-being of our team. This role will work closely with site management, whilst being strongly supported by our Bunbury, WA based HSE team.
About the Role
•Development, coordination and monitoring of the company safety policy, programs and procedures
•Ensure consultative mechanisms are developed and that consultation is occurring between management and employees
•Evaluation of safety products and personal protective equipment which are used within the organisation
•Job Hazard Analysis and safe working procedure development
•Consult / advise to senior management
•Conduct investigations and analysis of incidents, first aid, hazard and accident reports, to identify root causes and trends
•Monitor and keep up to date with Legislative requirements and OSH literature relevant to the company operations
•Induction of manager, supervisors and employees as to the company safety management systems
•Development and coordination of OHS training programs for all employees
•Keep organizational HSE records and statistics
•Periodic auditing of HSE management systems
About You
•3 + Years Experience in a similar role
•Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
•ICAM Lead Investigator Training
•First Aid Certificate (Senior or higher)
•Display a clear commitment and focus on the health, safety and well-being of all employees
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills
•Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence
•Ability to obtain an National Police Clearance (NPC)
•Willingness to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug / Alcohol Screen
