Job Summary
The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for assisting the HR Manager with functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including recruiting, hiring, and interviewing staff, safety, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Essential Functions
•Responsible for full-life cycle recruiting for all new & vacant positions including the advertisement, interviewing, managing candidate pipelines, coordinating interviews onsite, developing meaningful contacts, and administration of all pre-employment testing.
•Participate in job fairs as necessary
•Create, write, and format job postings based on job descriptions to appeal to and attract applicants
•Oversees the safety training and conducts the safety meeting.
•Maintaining and auditing all safety-related paperwork
•Ordering and distributing all PPE needed for job sites
•Maintain policies and procedures to reflect current changes in employment law.
•Provide timely and accurate responses for unemployment claims.
•Monitors compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations governing employee rights and related employment issues.
•Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and information.
•Performs related work as assigned.

Required Education and Experience
•Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
•A minimum of two years of recruiting or human resource experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
•Prior HR experience in construction or related field
•Experience with Foundations and HeavyJob software.

•Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and sitting for extended periods of time.
•Infrequently lifting or moving items 20 pounds or more.
•Ability to walk on uneven terrain at the job sites.
Position Type and Hours
This is a full-time, salary exempt position. Standard business hours are Monday-Friday from 8am – 5pm
Travel
Occasional travel may be required.
