Responsibilities
•Perform seasonal landscape maintenance tasks including weeding, pruning, edging, mulching, and flower planting
•Utilize a variety of hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., trimmers, pruners, blowers, weed whips)
•Maintain plant health and aesthetic standards through deadheading, cultivating, and trimming ground cover and shrubs
•Support bed preparation and cleanup tasks such as removing debris, cultivating soil/mulch, and redefining bed edges
•Assist in tree and shrub pruning up to designated height levels for appearance and safety
•Ensure assigned work is completed on time and meets quality expectations
•Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure a safe and productive work environment
•Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to efficient job site operations
Qualifications
•1+ year of experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture
•Proficiency in the use of landscape tools and equipment
•Strong understanding of seasonal garden maintenance practices
•Ability to follow direction and work independently or as part of a team
•Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
•Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
•Chauffeur’s License or willingness to obtain before start date (preferred)
•Experience with bed edging, annual planting, and ornamental pruning (preferred)
Compensation
Starting pay at $18.00 per hour
