Horizontal Directional Drill Operator

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate HDD & trenching equipment on job sites which includes the use and understanding of locating systems.

- Ability to drive crew trucks and other vehicles to and from job sites.

- Operating drill equipment with minimal disruption to existing infrastructure.

- Knowledge of utility depth requirements.

- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand cable routes.

- May be required to work overtime or be called in for after hours work.

- Ability to operate other equipment such as skid steers, wheel loaders, trenchers, and bull dozers is preferred but not required.

Requirements

- Valid drivers license.

- High school diploma or GED.

- Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

- Experience operating HDD equipment and knowledge of materials used.

- Safety focused.

- Ability to work as a team and a willingness to succeed..

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
