Horizontal Directional Drill Operator/ Locator

Illuminated Telecom is seeking Directional Drill Operators and Locators for installing underground telecommunications infrastructure in Texarkana and surrounding cities in Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana.

Directional Drill Operator/ Locator is Responsible for:

- Ensuring all safety precautions and practices in accordance with company standards are undertaken while excavating and operating machinery

- Jobsite preparation, including but not limited to: reading and utilizing proposed line markings and prints, confirming all utilities in the area have been located correctly, and communicating the plans for excavation with property owners and team members.

- Ensuring machinery is used and maintained in accordance with company standards

- Installing infrastructure that meets State and Municipal requirements as well as quality and timeliness to meet company standards.

- Applicant must be willing to work on the road up to 5 days a week

-Minimum 6 months Experience with HDD Operation or Locating required

*Valid Driver's License required

*Drug screening required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
