The Training Instructor is responsible for developing and implementing
technical training for Caterpillar products, as directed by the Wagner
Training Institute (WTI) Service Training Manager and Service Training
Supervisor, in a manner that reflects the companys vision of working as One
Pay rate is based upon experience and education.

Assists with creating a skills database and tracking training progress.
Performs additional administrative tasks as assigned by the Service Training
Participates in scheduled department activities and becomes an active partner
Works with supervisor and lead to deliver training classes assigned.
Maintains regular communication with the Service Training Supervisor to ensure
the needs of WTI and trainees are being met.
Assists with distributing relevant WTI class offering information to internal
Designs class materials and facilitates classes in response to the assessment
results and to the requests of our management staff.
Attend the classes needed to become proficient with the equipment assigned to
5+ years technical or mechanical experience with earthmoving equipment or
1+ years experience as an instructor in a related vocational field, such
as diesel or heavy equipment maintenance and repair
Experience with curriculum development and adult learning theory
Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing
Basic comprehension of mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, and machine
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Medium work that includes lifting and/or moving objects up to 32 pounds or
