Hellas., Inc headquartered in Austin, TX, is a nationwide specializing in sports facility construction. We manufacture, install & resurface artificial turfs & synthetic surfaces while completing the design from start to finish. Hellas, Inc. is looking for Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team and increase our national presence in the Texas and occasionally outside of the state. MUST BE OPEN TO TRAVELING!

Qualifications/Skills

•

Proficient in operating heavy machinery, with excellent knowledge of grading techniques and site preparation.

•

MUST have experience in Dozer, Water Truck, Skit steer, Loader and Excavator.

•

Ability to successfully pass a criminal history background check and drug test.

•

Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

•

High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality in grading and excavation work.

Duties and Responsibilities

•

Operate Heavy Equipment: Skillfully operate dozer and excavators to perform finish grading, excavation, and earthmoving tasks.

•

Finish Grading: Execute precise finish grading to achieve project specifications, ensuring proper slope, elevation, and surface quality.

•

Site Preparation: Prepare and grade sites for construction, including leveling ground and removing obstacles.

•

Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

•

Read, understand, and work from drawings, specifications, standards, or written/verbal instructions with or without direct supervision. Inspect completed work for compliance with construction documents, and regulatory building and safety codes.
