Heavy Equipment Operator

Lassiter Taylor Construction, LLC is looking to hire an Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator (Dozer, Excavator). This is a full-time position, working a Monday-Friday work week with potential of overtime (Saturdays, depending on weather and job schedule). All applicants must have reliable transportation to and from work and must be able to pass a drug test.

Lassiter Taylor Construction generally performs work in Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, and Laurens counties. We are not an out-of-town/traveling contractor. The scope of work for our company generally includes grading and storm drainage, with some management responsibilities for other trades.

Competitive pay based on EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS.

Requirements:

- Experience operating dozer to perform fine grading tasks and/or excavator to install storm drain pipe. Experience leading a storm drain crew a plus.

- Operate various other equipment (such as: skid steer, roller, off road truck, motor grader, etc.) as needed.

- GPS experience a plus, preferably Topcon or Trimble.

- Work to be performed outside in all types of environmental conditions.

- Ability to understand the scope of work (as directed) and assist in leading others towards that goal.

- Good attitude, reliable, self-motivated, excellent attendance, capable of working at a sustained pace and produce quality work.

- Ability to communicate well with Superintendents as well as other co-workers.

- May perform other related duties as assigned.
