Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and safety-conscious Equipment Operators & Laborers to perform a range of field services including, but not limited to, excavation, water, sewer, storm, and septic system services. We encourage all applicants who have experience in one or more of the needed roles. The ideal candidates follow instructions, complete tasks on their own, follow safety protocols, and are comfortable working in a physically demanding outdoor environment.
Roles Needed:
Equipment Operation:
•Operate dozers and related heavy equipment to build building pads, grade parking lots, build lakes & Ponds.
•Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
•Follow job site blueprints, utility locate markings, and supervisor instructions.
•Ensure safe operation near existing utilities and structures.
•Load and unload materials as needed.
Equipment Operation:
•Operate excavators and related heavy equipment to dig trenches, foundations, and utility lines.
•Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
•Follow job site blueprints, utility locate markings, and supervisor instructions.
•Ensure safe operation near existing utilities and structures.
•Load and unload materials as needed.
Sewer:
•Install, repair, and replace sewer mains, manholes, & service lines.
•Assist with Vacuum & pressure testing.
•Read and interpret utility maps and service diagrams.
•Comply with municipal and safety codes for sewer systems.
Stormwater:
•Install, repair, and replace storm lines & structures. mains, manholes.
•Read and interpret utility maps and service diagrams.
•Comply with municipal and safety codes for sewer systems.
Water:
•Install, repair, and replace water mains & service lines.
•Assist with leak detection, pressure testing, and flushing.
•Read and interpret utility maps and service diagrams.
•Comply with municipal and safety codes for water systems.
Septic Service:
•Install residential & commercial septic systems.
•Septic tank pumping and cleaning.
•Conduct system inspections, troubleshoot issues, and report findings.
•Maintain cleanliness and functionality of tools and service vehicles.
Qualifications:
•2+ years of experience in excavation, water, sewer, stormwater, or septic work.
•Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred or required for some roles).
•Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs, bend, climb, and work in varied weather.
Preferred Skills:
•Certification in heavy equipment operation.
· Knowledge of OSHA and local safety/environmental regulations.
•Confined space & trench safety training.
· Ability to read plans.
•Familiarity with GPS or laser leveling tools.
•Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment:
•Outdoor job sites in various weather conditions.
•Exposure to dirt, waste, and potentially hazardous materials (PPE provided).
•Travel to multiple sites may be required
