Essential Job Responsibilities
•
Responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing various types of vehicles, and construction equipment
•
Inspect and diagnose malfunctions in vehicles and/or equipment and determine method of repair.
•
Perform minor welding when necessary
•
Make quality repairs and perform preventative maintenance.
•
Accurately document parts and labor used on repair orders using fleet software
•
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Shop Supervisor
Experience, Educational, and Additional Requirements:
•
Minimum of 2-years’ experience as mechanic in a similar industry preferred
•
Must have necessary mechanic tools to perform job duties
•
Must have knowledge of basic vehicle preventive maintenance techniques
•
Must have the ability to diagnose and test for malfunctions in motor vehicles and construction equipment
•
Must have the ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems
•
Must have the ability to troubleshoot and repair basic electrical systems
•
Must have the ability to interpret manuals and schematics
•
SMAW and MIG certification preferred (welding)
•
Must have the ability to lift 75lbs
•
Must have a OSHA 10 card
•
Pass mandatory employment drug test required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
