We are looking for a MECHANIC / TRUCK DRIVER that has experience working with heavy equipment such as payloaders, skid steers, excavators, etc. as well as regular trucks and tractors.
We are looking for someone who has a valid CDL License, with experience in driving Manual Transmission Quad-Axle Dump Trucks, as well as other equipment.
We will strongly consider candidates that have a CDL.
We expect the ability to perform the following tasks:
•Know how to work and drive skid steers and other equipment used to load materials for customers.
•Disassemble units and inspect parts for wear, using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
•Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions.
•Install and repair accessories such as radios, heaters, mirrors, and windshield wipers.
•Maintain cleanliness of work area.
•Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups.
•Repair or replace parts such as pistons, rods, gears, valves, and bearings.
•Repair or replace shock absorbers.
•Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes.
•Replace and adjust headlights.
•Rewire ignition systems, lights, and instrument panels.
•If you have a CDL, you will be asked to haul materials or debris from job sites or make deliveries, on occasion depending on work load.
We also provide snow removal services, and if you will be a full-time employee, you will be asked to either salt or plow for us as well. The snow removal is all on-call, unless you are already here in the shop. (More details can be discussed on this in an interview).

Qualifications
•Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic
•Strong automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge
•Proficiency in using hand tools, micrometers, and calipers
•Experience with vehicle maintenance, including transmissions and air brakes
•Familiarity with hydraulics, suspension systems, and alignment
•Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators and forklifts
•Customer service skills and service technician experience
