Heavy Diesel Mechanic
As a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic, you will be essential in maintaining and repairing a variety of heavy machinery, ensuring optimal performance on construction sites. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your core skills in automotive diagnostics, diesel engine repair, and vehicle maintenance will be vital.
Diesel Mechanic Requirements
•General knowledge of truck diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance but not limited to diesel engine, transmission, air brake, suspension, hydraulics and electrical systems.
•Knowledgeable in computer aided truck diagnostics.
•Ability to work as a team to accomplish tasks.
•Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and management.
•Specific prior in-industry experience is not required but is a plus; we will provide training for the specific platforms.
•The ability to perform heavy lifting and physical activity in all weather conditions.
Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities
•Keep a neat, safe and clean work area.
•Follow all safety standards as per company polices and OSHA regulations.
•Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Pay will be dependent on experience.
