HEATING OIL TRUCK DRIVER

Job Summary

Home Heating Oil Delivery Driver needed for fuel oil deliveries on Long Island, Queens NY, and surrounding towns. Candidate must have CDL A or B with Hazmat/ tank endorsements valid DOT physical card and TWIC card. Experience with residential heating oil delivery preferred.

Seasonal Positions - Will start btw October 15th - November 1st, will end between April 1st - May 1st.

Skills

- Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations.

- Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles.

- Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized truck types is preferred.

- Ability to navigate routes efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the road.

- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.

- Familiarity with freight handling procedures including loading/unloading practices.
