Position Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on active job sites and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specification. This role demands a hands-on leader with excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of construction practices, and the ability to drive results on complex, high-impact projects.
Key Responsibilities
•Oversee daily site operations, ensuring safety protocols and company policies are strictly followed.
•Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and onsite crews.
•Review and interpret blueprints, project specifications, and construction documents.
•Use project management tools such as Procore to track progress, submit RFIs, log daily reports, and manage documentation.
•Ensure all materials, equipment, and inspections are scheduled and executed efficiently.
•Maintain accurate and organized project documentation including logs, deliveries, change orders, and punch lists.
•Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure clear and consistent communication.
•Mentor and support junior team members in safety and construction best practices.
•Enforce quality control standards and conduct regular site inspections.
Qualifications
•Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a related field.
•Strong working knowledge of commercial construction, with experience in healthcare or government projects (required).
•Proficiency in Procore (required).
•Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
•Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
•Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
•OSHA certification and valid driver’s license preferred.
•Familiarity with tools such as Ohmmeters is a plus.
